Project H.A.P.P.Y.

Helping Adolescent & Adult Pregnant and Parenting Young women

* Project HAPPY was created as a means to provide Doula care to those who may not be able to have the education and support provided by an organization like this.  We serve  any and all pregnant persons with no regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or age.

Mission/Goal: To educate, support, and empower pregnant persons to make informed decisions and have rewarding experiences with positive memories. We want all of our clients to be treated with respect and dignity, to know their rights and options, and have a voice in their care.

What is a Doula?

A Doula is a woman who supports other pregnant people during pregnancy, labor and birth, and post-partum.  A Doula is a trained and experienced pregnancy and birth support professional. Her job is to support the pregnant woman (or person) by providing education, physical and emotional comfort.

Benefits of Having a Doula....
